Procedures
CK (Conductive Keratoplasty)
An FDA-approved vision correction technology, CK has improved near vision
for millions of people with presbyopia. CK uses radio waves to reshape
the cornea and bring near vision back into focus. Minimally invasive and
painless, CK is performed in less than three minutes in our office with
only eye drop anesthesia.
Once the treatment is complete, you do not have to wear a patch and can
most patients return to work the very next day. Patients may experience
some mild discomfort, including a foreign-object or “scratchy”
sensation the first 24 to 48 hours following the procedure.
In FDA clinical studies, 98% of patients were able to read newspaper-size
print without reading glasses after the CK procedure (12-month follow-up
data).
