Implantable Contact Lenses

Visian ICL

Better known as the Implantable Contact Lens, the Visian ICL is made of a special material called collamer and works with the eye to correct your vision. Unlike traditional contact lenses that go on the surface of the eye, the Visian ICL is surgically inserted into the eye and doesn’t require any special cleaning solutions or maintenance on your part.

Excellent quality of vision High Definition Visian™

Vision correction that’s sharper, clearer, more vivid, and has greater depth and dimension. The reason High Definition Visian goes beyond LASIK is clear and simple. It’s because the Visian ICL is made of an advanced lens material that’s soft, flexible and specifically created to provide a lifetime of clear vision. With the Visian ICL, distortions such as glare, halos, and poor night vision are proven far less common than with LASIK. We call this High Definition Visian™.

The "Wow" Factor

After a simple 15-minute outpatient procedure, patients experience an immediate improvement in vision quality and are "Wowed" by the results. Over 99% of patients were satisfied with the Visian ICL procedure.

Advanced lens material

The Visian ICL is made of an advanced lens material with many unique properties. This material transmits light and reduces reflections that can interfere with vision, so you see clearly. Made of a copolymer and collagen, the Visian ICL is also highly biocompatible. It rests quietly in position while accurately correcting vision. The Visian ICL is the best choice for a lens that is going to remain inside your body for a lifetime.

Eye with removable, invisible Visian ICL

Removable

The Visian ICL is inserted into the eye through a small, micro opening. The lens then gently unfolds in the eye and is positioned between the iris and the natural lens where it stays indefinitely. If your vision changes dramatically, however, the Visian ICL can be simply removed from the eye. LASIK, on the other hand, involves cutting and removing eye tissue that is not reversible.

Invisible and undetectable

You won't be able to see the Visian ICL in your eye, and neither will anybody else. Exceptional quality of 21st century vision correction.

Verisyse™ Phakic IOL

The Verisyse™ Phakic IOL is used to treat moderate to severe myopia, the medical term for nearsightedness. With over 18 years of use and 150,000 procedures performed worldwide, results prove that the Verisyse™ design is safe and effective for very nearsighted people who are tired of thick glasses and are not candidates for Custom LASIK. The procedure involves placing the Verisyse™ Phakic IOL behind your cornea and on top of your iris. This gives your eye another focusing lens that provides high-quality, high-definition vision like a normal eye. Although the Verisyse™ Phakic IOL is intended to be permanent, the procedure is reversible if desired. The word "phakic" means that your natural crystalline lens is left in the eye. This is important because your natural lens plays an important role in helping your eye adjust between seeing objects that are near and far.
