About Dr. Pyritz

Dr. Jeffrey Pyritz was born and raised in Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1991. He then attended Indiana University School of Optometry, graduating with distinction and as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Fraternity in 1995.

Dr. Pyritz has practiced in Arizona since 1995 and joined Horizon Eye Specialists in 2024. He provides general eye care, contact lens fittings, and has extensive experience diagnosing and managing ocular disease, including cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Arizona Optometric Association. In his free time, he enjoys running, fitness, and traveling with his family.
