Dr. Gerald B. Walman, a board-certified ophthalmologist, specializes in laser-assisted surgical eye procedures with special attention given to cataract and LASIK surgery, as well as intraocular lens implants.
Over the years, Dr. Walman built a reputation for his practice in Arizona as the destination for excellence in eye care. To date, Dr. Walman has performed over 50,000 LASIK procedures. He is passionate about general ophthalmology and interacting with his patients to preserve and enhance their vision. In addition to being board-certified, Dr. Walman is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
In 1978, Dr. Walman moved from Canada to Arizona. With his Canadian background in advanced laser technologies and his experience in research and education, he developed the tools to provide patients with their optimal vision. He holds three intraocular patents and serves as an instructor on laser eye procedures.
